Face It

As of today I am officially no longer a resident of Maine. I surrendered my Vacationland driver's license, plates, title, and registration for ones barring the mark of the Keystone state of Pennsylvania.

I find myself struggling with these present transformations to my identity along with my newly acquired status as a graduate holding degrees in both Communications and Studio Art.

Who am I? Where I am going? What next?

These days I'm:
Engaged, Evan's Fiance, PA resident, Newly grad, Dogowner, Server, Mountainbiker, Artist...

But these are just labels. I need more. I need meaning. Purpose. Understanding. True Self.

Meanwhile, there is solice in the ordinary, familiarity in the routine, comfort in the mundane.

...Like with the plants on my windowsill.
